WIZnet “Cup Ethernet technology Contest Winners Demonstrate

October 2013, WIZnet Beijing joint ninth MCU Development Website to hold the 1st “WIZnet” cup Ethernet technology design contest launched in mainland China. Contest entries must be based on WIZnet W5100, W5200 and W5500 these three products to complete the design. It is divided into two parts: Concept or Implementation.

There is no need to submit the program code in Concept design, you only need to realize the concept; Implementation design need to complete implementation of the program code. There are 12 winning entries in the final state after five months (a total of more than 100 groups’ contestants in the beginning)

First prize:
Title: ” W5500 intelligent building control”

Author: Wen Tao
Description: The W5500 intelligent building control scheme using fieldbus technology FCS (Fieldbus Control System), which combined with advanced control systems and intelligent building of the W5500 chip. It can design more intelligent building control systems.

Second Prize:

Title: “Based on W5200 network timer server design”

Author: Wang Feng
Description: This design uses an ARM-based controller STM32F103RBT6 as the hardware control core. To complete the design of 100M Ethernet NTP network time server, it coordinates with time slot between modules and network chip W5200.

Title: “W5200 Data Package system”

Author: Ding Pengfei

Description: Based on the W5200 small data pack Storage System that create own special coding for delivery storage such as Express Storage, express recognition, remote delivery receipt, password authentication and seeking express, electronic billing, etc.

Third prize:

Title: “W5200 vehicle active safety systems,”

Author: Chen Heshan

Description: This system is design for long distance control by using W5200. It can detect determine the driver’s driving status in the brain wave detection systems and video surveillance systems. After the remote control of the vehicle on-board computer systems, it will avoid the occurrence of accidents.

Title: “W5500 SMART DORM “”,

Author: Wang its

Description: This System design is based on “IOT”, it uses of WIZnet chip W5500. There are automatic and manual modes, automatic modes is divided into three scenarios back to home, wake up and leave the home, this design included the fire alarm function, you can read through micro-blog, micro-channel to get alarm signal. Manual mode is divided into indoor language control, remote monitoring, and control mode. Voice control includes three scenarios: homework mode, sleep mode and normal mode. The system is scalable; it can add more interesting features in future, such as human health monitoring.

Title: ” Cash Counting with Ethernet interface ”

Description: Cash Counting is mainly using in Security System for bank. You may get cash Counting Data through video overlay processor. When customer come to casher to calculate the amount of cash, this information will be delivery to the server system.

The main MCU nuvoton M058SSAN, logic IC EPM240T100C5 and W5500.

First prize:

Title: “W5500 computer remote control Security system”

Author: Wen Ping, Jiang Bo, Zhang Yi, Guo Xun

Description: They are usingWIZnet W5500 chip and enhanced 8051 microcontroller with core STC15F2K60S2 to design the Computer remote control Security system.

This application can use in Exhibition booth and Family Safety Deposit Box. Customer can use the internet to monitor their items. For additional, if the items was stolen, it will auto call the 110.

1) Title: “W5200 remote traffic light system”,

Author: Don Mao, Xiaohua Han, Chen Linsen, Wu Hui Hang

Description: The system is based on IAP15F2K61S2 MCU and W5200 Ethernet controller chip to achieve. W5200 createthe loop to monitor whether the information is sent from a remote console, ensure the display of traffic lights on the microcontroller module which has been working with remote console traffic lightdisplay module and displays.

2) Title: “IOT to achieve remote power management,”

Author: Wu Hanqing

Description: This works through cloudserver to remote monitor users’ (such as student dormitories) electricity consumption.

Main features:

1, it can be viewed and monitor the power and electricity consumption via a mobile phone or computer.

2, It cans remote control the power supply to switch on/off by phone or computer.

3, Cloudservera capable to switch on/off power supply, over power consumption etc.

Arduino mega2560 R3 development board; Arduino Ethernet W5100 network expansion board; electronic energy meter; solid-state relay; small circuit board

3) Title: “Cloud Server to monitorWater quality information management unit”

Description: We use electrode to collectthe information. The collected signal will send to the controller.The controller sends the information to HMI and upload to cloud serverthrough W5500.The system contains MCU controller, HMI, data acquisition devices, power devices and other components.

1) Title: “localLAN Drinking Machine reservation system development “,

Author: Dinning

Description: This design implement reservation-boil water for drinking Machine intelligent systems, each user can make an appointment to boil wateron the local LAN, check whether the water to boil, to achieve a high efficiency, energy saving, healthy concept. Drinking Machine includes ARDUINO SCM system, W5100 chip, which form the low end computer system and response for receiving and reply to user instructions; iOS PC users, including iPhone, iPad, etc., is responsible for sending commands and receiving the next crew feedback information. Fountains and user iPhone, iPad and so connected to the same local area network to interact UDP data.

2) Title: “W5500 environmental information monitoring system”,

Description: W5500EVB (includes STM32 microcontroller) + DHT11 temperature and humidity sensor + GY-30 light sensor + router + Yeelink network platform, based on above information, it is easy to achieve client mode in mobile, PC machine instant monitoring of environmental information.
