The first Smart Hardware exhibition of MDCC was held in last week. The MDCC is the biggest mobile development conference in China hold by CSDN. Every year, MDCC invites some famous IT leaders to share their stories. As the OSHW is very hot in China, and ‘Maker’ is becoming more famous and famous, CSDN and Innovation Works prepared a Smart Hardware Exhibition during this year MDCC.
- CSDN is the biggest Chinese IT community in the world where mainly software engineer focus on in the early days.
- Innovation Works was founded by Dr Lee(A famous leader in Chinese IT industry, former Microsoft, Google China president), is a company dedicated to the early stage of investment, and investment institutions to provide comprehensive business incubation.
There are 75 Smart Hardware companies attend to this exhibition. Every company has a mini booth for free. WIZnet Beijing also applied one free booth to show our W5500 and Arduino shields, thanks to the editor of Openbook (online magazine about arduino) who introduced the exhibition to us.
Though the exhibition booth is free for us, visitors should buy one 50RMB visiting tickets. Because MDCC is famous in China, the first Smart Hardware Exhibition attracted many people. And many visitors asked many questions about our products. The most visitors are S/W engineers, Makers, college teachers and some venture capital company to find out good projects for future investing. The main products on this exhibition are related to IoT solution & products, smart wearable devices and other personal smart devices.
In this exhibition, MDCC also selected some excellent products and gave them an award. There are 3 kinds of award: the best innovation award, the best design award and the best experience award. WIZnet got one of the best innovation awards in this exhibition.
